Helps You Cut Most Substrates
The Zapkut is ideal for cutting plastics, non-ferrous metals and timber. With the panel saw cutting Correx and Dibond is quick and straight forward and because it is a panel saw your cut will always be 100% straight and accurate. The Zapkut can take full 8x4 foot sheets (2440x1220mm) and with most substrates you can cut multiple sheets in one pass.

2 Cuttings Methods
With the Zapkut you can cross cut and rip cut.

Vertical Cutting (Cross Cut)
The head of the saw is moved from top to bottom using the integral guide rail system.

Horizontal Cutting (Rip Cut)
Simply disengage the saw mounting plate and rotate the plate by 90 degree and re-engage. This will allow you then to cut horizontally. You would use this method for cutting the full length of an 8 foot board.

Sturdy Yet Portable
The Zapkut is a vertical panel saw that is not only sturdy it is also portable as it can fold down for easy transportation on-site.

Safer
Most sign makers use hand-held circular saws and trestles, or table saws. Both approaches are hazardous, and can be slow, inaccurate, and messy. The Zapkut is safer by ensure the blade is well away from your body.

Cleaner
Whilst cutting any material is always going to involve some mess you can utilise the dust extraction attachment that features on most circular saws to cut the waste mess down by 50%.

Please note that the Zapkut does not include a circular saw. The Zapkut panel saw has a mounting plate which can be customised to fit most circular saws. Some of the most popular that it fits include;

The saws mentioned above are just over the £100 mark from companies such as Screwfix, Tool Station etc.

If you have these or an alternative existing saw with a metal base plate you can customise the saw holder that comes with the unit. This requires drilling of 4 holes in the base plate and saw holder to allow the saw fixings to be attached.
