Update On Effects Of Corona Virus

This page will show any branch closures or effects to the operations of MDP Supplies during the Corona virus (Covid19) outbreak.

As this is a rapidly changing situation we will update this page with all the latest information that we have.

Trade Counters
All our trade counters across the UK are open for Click & Collect orders. For full details click here.

We are gradually extending the opening hours of each branch, below are the most recent changes.

Bromborough: Now open again on Sundays 10am-1pm.

Face Masks
In England & Scotland it is obligatory to wear a face mask / covering whilst shopping anywhere. Our customer facing staff across the UK are wearing them to protect you, please reciprocate.



Online Orders
We are despatching online orders as we have implemented changes to staff procedures at our warehouses to ensure social distancing of staff.

UK Mainland
These changes, combined with receiving a high volume of orders, means that we have had to temporarily remove our guaranteed next day delivery options. Our teams have been working incredibly hard and have been working overtime to meet the demand and we will very shortly be reintroducing next day delivery.

All orders are being picked and packed as quickly as possible with the vast majority being despatched the same day that they were placed but please allow 1-3 working days for delivery. As a company we have made a substantial investment to increase the order handling capacity at key branches by increasing the staffing levels and by setting up a larger fulfilment operation in Falkirk.

Northern Ireland & Republic Of Ireland Deliveries
The Portadown branch has a current delivery time of 1-2 days.



Customer Service
We have increased staffing at our customer service call centre but phone lines are exceptionally busy so we have had to close phone lines at 5pm to allow the team to get back to customers. The call centre is now open 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.



Fabrication Department
Our fabrication department is extremely busy and we have added additional staff to increase the output.
